Bookkeeping Services
The starting point – every business must keep a set of financial “books” – even if that’s nothing more than a standard checkbook. But even that basic level of “bookkeeping” requires a good amount of your time, including the related tasks like paying bills & employees, invoicing customers and collecting, and making bank deposits.
If those tasks are on your plate as the business owner, wouldn’t that time be better spent growing and managing your business. Contact us for a Free Consultation on how we can help. We promise not “break the bank” as they say – we can customize our services to work within your budget.

Business Reports
While bookkeeping is a necessity, by itself it does help you manage your business. Needed of course for preparing tax returns, a primary purpose and benefit of good bookkeeping is to prepare informative and helpful Business Reports.

Tax Returns
Owning a business unfortunately comes with the requirement to prepare and file tax returns beyond those required by an individual tax payer. Most small businesses operate under a separate legal entity, such as an LLC – the business related tax returns would be filed under that business name.
In the State of New Jersey, virtually all business are required to collect Sales and/or Use Taxes, and file a tax return online, monthly (ST-51) and quarterly (ST-50) and pay-in those taxes via an electronic payment.
If your business has employees, then you will have federal and state withholdings for those employees, for which you must file form 941 and deposit those employee tax withholdings along with your employer share of FICA and Medicare taxes.

Why Should You Hire a Professional Bookkeeper?
We have spoken with many small business owners about this very question. In nearly all cases, they admit that running their own business, providing the quality products and service their customers expect, keeping those customers satisfied and coming back, requires nothing less than 100% of their time and effort.
